Cheryl Thompson Advisory · Corporate Cohort Program
The AI Sprint
A six-week cohort where your team builds something they actually use.
A cross-company cohort for non-technical leaders and their teams in automotive and manufacturing — where your people don't just learn about AI, they build something with it.
The Problem
Your team has heard the AI hype. They've sat through the webinars. They still aren't using it. The AI Sprint fixes that.
The AI Sprint is a structured six-week program where three people from your company join peers from non-competing manufacturers and learn to use AI in their actual work. Every participant finishes with a working tool or solution they built themselves, and the skills to keep building after the program ends. Your executive sponsor sees the results firsthand at the final showcase session.
How It Works
Pre
Survey & Intake
Every participant completes a pre-program survey. We map where each person is on their AI journey, what their real pain points are, and what they want to build. No one starts from the same place — and the program meets them where they are.
1
Foundations & Orientation
Understanding how AI actually works, what it can and cannot do, and how to use it as a genuine co-pilot — not a toy. Participants identify the specific problem or workflow they will focus on building a solution for.
2
Prompting & Practical Application
Hands-on practice with real work scenarios. Participants learn to get consistent, high-quality output from AI tools applied to their actual job functions — not generic demos.
3
Building Your Solution
Each participant begins building their tool or solution with guided support. The cross-company cohort format means people learn from each other's approaches, challenges, and breakthroughs in real time.
4
Refine & Stress-Test
Participants refine their builds, troubleshoot what is not working, and pressure-test their solutions with the group. Peer feedback accelerates what individual learning cannot.
5
Polish & Prepare for Showcase
Final refinements. Participants prepare to present their tool or solution to the full group, including their executive sponsor. This is not a slide deck — it is a live demonstration of something that works.
6
Showcase Session — Executive Sponsors Attend
Each team presents what they built. Executive sponsors from every company are in the room. The energy in this session is different from any training program — because this is proof, not theory.

- You need to train 50+ people at once (ask about the enterprise workshop option)
- You are in the same market segment as another cohort participant
- Leadership is not aligned or willing to sponsor the program
What This Looks Like in Practice
Cheryl helped our leaders move past curiosity and start using AI on real work. The difference was her ability to translate between manufacturing reality and what AI can actually do. Our team built tools they still use today.
